Work on strategy and its organizational requirements
My work takes three forms: execution diagnostics, capability development and integration, and executive advisory and coaching.
The starting point
The business issue determines the work
An engagement may start with a strategy whose requirements are unclear, conflicting demands between functions, or a change that is not producing the expected effect. I examine the situation before defining the work.
Strategic capabilities are a central part of my approach. Other assignments focus on organization, governance, incentives, responsibilities or the operating model. The question is what matters for the result the business needs.
Execution Diagnostic
Assess what is preventing the intended results
I examine the situation, assess the main barriers and explain which changes deserve attention. The work includes the evidence behind the findings and the questions that remain unresolved.

Develop the capabilities and the conditions they require
I work with the responsible leaders and functions to develop strategic capabilities, address their dependencies and adapt how the work is organized and managed.

Reflect on the situation and your part in it
We work through the situations you face as a leader, including your assumptions, relationships and ways of responding. I contribute advice and challenge alongside space to think aloud and consider other perspectives.

Agree what the work involves
These are different forms of support, rather than a fixed sequence. An advisory engagement does not require a prior diagnostic. Where an assessment already exists, we use it as a starting point for development work. We agree what is needed, who should take part and how we will review progress.
